A statement to Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. (CPC) from Legacy Inc.:
“The family of Patsy Cline, represented through Legacy Inc. is in support of CPC and its mission of establishing a museum in Winchester, Virginia to honor and preserve her memory and music.
Certain criteria was agreed to between Legacy Inc. and CPC that allows for the family to provide NIL rights required for CPC to move forward.
Neither the family nor Legacy Inc. are in the business or have experience in the development, establishing or maintaining a museum. We have and are relying on CPC to move forward and provide this expertise on a schedule that allows the museum to achieve its goals.
We would like to thank and offer our continued support to Celebrating Patsy Cline for their diligence insuring the long success of a museum.”
Legacy Inc. represents the family of the late Patsy Cline and is the licensing agent for the family which exclusively owns the rights of commercialization and publicity in and to the name, likeness, voice, image (including photo and film/video), personification and signature of Patsy Cline (NIL).
