Wendy Pepper, a top contestant on the first season of the hit reality television show "Project Runway," recently created her "take" on Patsy's Historic House for our latest T-shirt. The shirt, featuring an upbeat celebratory rendition of Patsy's House at 608 South Kent Street, also displays the words of one of Patsy's famous songs . . . "Come On In . . . Sit Right Down . . . And Make Yourself At Home!" How fitting . . . as we strive to make a dream of opening her home for tour into a reality! Wendy will also be re-creating one of the dresses Patsy's Mom, Hilda Hensley, designed that Patsy wore while performing on stage and during appearances. The dress will be on display during the future house tours. THANK YOU, Wendy Pepper, for all you have done and are doing to contribute to our efforts for this lady legend!
The "Wendy Pepper T-shirt" may be purchased at The Winchester Visitor Center or at the Best Western Lee-Jackson Hotel Desk. The men's style shirt comes in Sand and Light Blue in sizes M, L, XL & XXL. The women's style shirt comes in Yellow, Pink and White in sizes M, L, XL, XXL. The words on the men's shirts are printed in green and the words on the women's shirts are printed in hot pink. On the back of each shirt are the words, "Designed by Wendy Pepper." We hope to have the shirts accessible through direct manufacturer order soon.
